Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Buddhi Blog.  I am so excited to have you walk a few steps with me on my path.  Whether you join me for a leisurely walk around the block, or we climb the next thousand miles together, I'm happy to have you along for the journey.  I'm not sure where we will end up, but I can tell you where we are starting...

You've already found me at Restorative Medical Center so let's start there.  If you haven't met Christina Parker, N.P. yet, you are in for a treat.  She is the most attentive, understanding, and genuine medical practitioner I know.  And on top of that, she is brilliant.  She is the first person I have ever trusted with my health and the health of my family.  I'd like to stand on my rooftop with a megaphone shouting out her name to all that will listen, but since it's 2012, I believe that blogging will have to be the outlet from which I sing her praises.  I am incredibly fortunate to have the honor and privilege of working with Christina as her nutritionist and yoga practitioner.  I hope to bring a unique dimension of healing to her practice that will benefit all those seeking a path of health, wellness and restoration.

I've just decided that my blog should be called the Buddhi Blog.  Yes, the corresponding homophone "booty" makes this title hilarious, in my opinion.   It may conjure up images of pirate loot or maybe even the last wedding you went to.  But alas, there is another meaning.  Buddhi is a feminine sanskrit word that is derived from the root budh, which means to be awake, to understand, to know.  Buddhi is a state of mind that makes wisdom possible.  It also describes one who seeks dharma, or reality and truth.  I hope that this blog will bring wisdom, and a touch of humor, to all that read it.  In it's pages you will find many gems to enhance your spiritual, emotional, and physical well being.

It's been a pleasure crossing paths with you today.
